about me.
Finding the narrative through design…
Hi, I’m Tomomi, a UX designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have an unique mixture of background including architecture, photography, marketing and graphic design.
As a UX designer, I like to work on projects that impact diverse audiences. While working on the Be My Eyes project, I rediscovered my passion for creating design that can make an impact for communities that are often left underrepresented. Now, my goal as a UX designer is to create experiences that empower underrepresented communities including women of color and LGBTQQIA+ people.
For the past 8 years, I has been using my skills as a marketing and graphic design professional to help retailers build community through highlighting human connections to their products.
By combining my skills, I aspire to create user centered designs that are simple in form yet bestow a lasting meaning.
If I'm not out taking photographs of the built environment, I'll be home still waiting for my letter from Hogwarts...
